The association has been operating as an independent organization since 1991. As a public benefit organization, we have been dedicated to bringing the beauty of orchids and bromeliads to as many people as possible.
Our mission is to support the understanding, conservation, and responsible care of these extraordinary plants through scientific, educational, and environmental work. Our activities include research, public outreach, training and education, as well as nature and environmental protection — all aimed at bringing the wonders of nature closer to those who cherish them.
…where we welcome all orchid enthusiasts and those interested. You can meet us several times throughout the year, as we regularly organize exhibitions and programs where you can get to know the magical world of orchids up close.
Our orchid exhibition is the Society’s most important public event, attracting visitors from Hungary and abroad.
